Pencils vs. Pens

This is a very interesting topic, and, believe it or not, has been fought about for a long time. My opinion? Pencils! Pens are a praised invention, yet they are completely unnecessary. They can't be erased. You can see the marks from the other side of a sheet of paper. And bad ballpoint pens can be so frustrating! So why, I ask you, are pens used? Pencils can be erased easily, they don't carry ink that can stain things, and so much more. It is a complete disgrace that just because pencils are gray and you have to sharpen them, humans use such a primitive writing tool such as the pen!
